I was called to be a part of the committee for architecture department's upcoming event — Archifest. During meeting, when asked who's skilled enough to handle Photoshop to design the poster, I reacted. Previously I had always feel unsatisfied with the posters they had came up with because they weren't presented well and were lacking necessary information. So I decided to volunteer and became a part of the multimedia committee. The job was given to me and within the next day I presented them with my design.
It was very fortunate on my part as the lecturer a.k.a chair person loved my design; she was really impressed by how fast I worked and how well was the job done so she promised me a position in the architecture club in the following semester (yay!). Following this, I received an ovation from the committee and became the only 3rd semester student amongst the 5th and 6th semester students dedicating most of my time for this event in the last few days before the day of the event.
It was very tiring even when I only worked for 4 days, because I had to run here and there and stayed at campus up until 2AM to take care of things — not to mention the hot weather practically already sucked out half of my energy. So on the day of the event, I woke up with a flu. Yay. ;v; But anyway, it was still quite fun as I managed to work along with my (*cough* cute) seniors and get closer to them. :)
