Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, everyone! :) Here is this year's raya video from us — FM Clique & friends.

The video ended up being released a couple of days into Shawaal. "Orz Faced some difficulties during post-production such as limited amount of clips, audio was missing, and the songs used during recording and post-production were different so it was quite hard trying to fit in the clips. It is a relieve that I managed to finish it up in the end.

Despite the lack of proper technique and skills in production, I hope you guys enjoyed the video! Perhaps next time I would take an effort and upgrade my production software so I can produce a better video.

Let us ask for forgiveness and forgive to those who asked. Have a great time during this blessed month of Shawaal, everyone! May Lord bless your soul. :)

Happy Eid Mubarak 1434H!

Saturday, 10 August 2013
The blessed month of Ramadhan has ended and the holy month of Syawal has begun! :)

I am still in charge of editing Eid ul-Fitr's greeting video for FM Clique this year. Excuse me for being late with the video, as I only have a week of holiday before I go back to the depth of hell Ipoh for college. So I have to cram up everything in one week — which is driving me nuts — and that includes shopping, and hanging out with my old friends from primary and secondary schools haha. I was even too lazy to send out personalized text messages to each of my friends wishing a happy eid. Sorry you guys~ =v=

For the first time ever, I actually participated in the video! :) In case you're wondering which one is me, I'm the one dressed up in an all black kaftan, acting like a kitty. Haha. The video ended up being a bit longer than last year's video. I hope it doesn't get boring!

P.S.: Do watch it till the very end! ;) And don't forget to like FM Clique's page.

Happy Eid Mubarak 1434H to fellow Muslims! :)

I hope each of you are having a wonderful time during this holy month of Syawal with your family and your loved ones. :)

Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir & Batin.

Time-lapse: Happy Birthday NK!

Sunday, 16 September 2012
I was asked by a friend, Ishkander, to help him take some pictures for something he was working on for a certain special someone's birthday that was coming up. He wasn't exactly sure of what to do with the pictures; that was where I thought Hey, let's try doing a time-lapse video!

Happy Birthday NK ♥ from Reysha Kamal on Vimeo.

This would be my first time doing a time-lapse video, yay! :D I actually enjoyed doing it because it was quite easy to render and the editing didn't took me much time. The only con is that my hands hurt so much after that from snapping gazillions of photos continuously; I think my thumb almost broke off! Lol. I ended up with almost 800 photos in a period of 2 hours. Only used half of the amount though for the video.

Plan didn't fall through – Initially, we were shooting this process at an open field near my house at night. We were already halfway through it and were about to light up the candles when suddenly a wild strong gust of wind appeared, and it started to drizzle. The wind was really creeping me out, and being on a dark field surrounded with huge trees just brings the creepy feeling to a whole new level. So in the end, we resorted to using a hall at another place to shoot this. Well, couldn't use nature as the background but glad that the pictures turned out alright! :)

Never expected the video to turn out rather romantic haha, I actually love it! Eventhough it was quite simple really. :) Posting some pictures from the photoshoot because candles and bokeh effect are just so lovely together!! ♥ Fresh from the camera, pictures aren't touched up. :)

My top favourite picture of all, it's so lovelyyyy. ♥ *v*

Arranged candles lighted up.

A small heart. ♥

Bokeh candles from the side.

The end product. :) Lovely ain't it?

So, to NK, happy birthday! And I hope you love the video and the great effort that was put in by my friend here, all for you. :)

The first video I ever created

Wednesday, 16 May 2012
I started editing videos when I was in my senior year in SMK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam. My friend, Mya, had this wicked idea to do a video project for the 2011 Teacher's Day. So with the help of a handful of Form 5 students and also Mya's brother, we were able to produce the video which was shown to the entire school during the teacher's day celebration at school. The reception was overwhelming and every students and teachers enjoyed it very much and it really made me happy.

The video is called How Things Are vs. How Things Are Supposed To Be. Basically it's a comedy video showing the bad things that students do, and the nice things they are supposed to do.

Getting this video done was really tough, with such limited amount of time we have in hands, getting the casts and crews to make time to show up for the video shooting, it all took a lot of effort. The video commenced in February and was finally finished on the viewing day itself — on Teacher's day. Lol. It was such a crazy experience but it was all worth it.
